We’ll ask about the size of your home, how many bedrooms and bathrooms, the general state of things, and what type of service you’re looking for. This takes about five minutes and lets us give you an accurate, itemized quote — not a vague range that doubles once someone walks in the door.
We’ll also talk through whether a deep clean or a recurring visit makes more sense as a starting point based on where your home is right now.
What You Should (and Shouldn’t) Do Before the Team Arrives
You don’t need to pre-clean. That’s our job. But a few things help:
- Pick up clutter from surfaces and floors. We can clean around things, but if counters and floors are clear, we can do a much more thorough job on the actual surfaces.
- Let us know about anything fragile or off-limits. If there’s a shelf of collectibles or a room you’d prefer we skip, just say so upfront.
- Secure pets if needed. Most of our clients have pets and they’re never a problem — but if your dog gets anxious around strangers, giving them a separate space makes the day easier for everyone.
Do You Need to Be Home?
Entirely up to you. Many of our clients give us a key or garage code and aren’t home during the cleaning. Others prefer to be there, especially for the first visit. Either works — we just ask that you let us know your preference when we schedule.

What the Team Will Do
For a first deep clean, here’s a general sense of what’s covered:
- Kitchen: Cleaning appliance exteriors, inside the microwave, stovetop, counters, backsplash, sink, cabinet fronts, and floors
- Bathrooms: Toilet, tub, shower, sink, mirrors, counters, floors — scrubbed properly, not wiped
- Bedrooms: Dusting all surfaces, baseboards, ceiling fans, vacuuming, making beds (if linens are out)
- Living areas: Dusting, vacuuming furniture and floors, wiping surfaces, cleaning glass
- Details: Baseboards, light switches, window sills, door frames — the things most people skip
